Hearing from our visitors is always important, but even more so now.
As a Visitor Experience Volunteer, you will be involved in gathering feedback from the public. The responses you gather will inform the work we do and help us quickly address any visitor concerns as the country come out of lockdown and people start returning to museums.
Whether you have free hours here and there, or a whole afternoon to spare, your support enables us to better serve our audiences.
We are surveying visitors to the Power of Stories exhibition at Christchurch Mansion (open Tuesday – Sunday). Volunteers are asked to give around 2 hours a week, but this can be done at whatever time suits you.
Duties could include:
- Conducting visitor surveys and recording general comments about the exhibition.
- Welcoming visitors and answering their questions.
- Promoting the related events programme.
We are able to reimburse travel expenses for this role.
Training on conducting visitor surveys will be provided. Volunteers will also be able to develop customer service skills.
